It's hard to believe we have lived here in this tiny town of Camlachie for just over a year now. So much has happened in this last year.
I quit my job of 23 years (paramedic)
I moved studios THREE TIMES since moving here
I have fostered 6 newborn babies
I have changed churches (finally found my home church after a year)
I have photographed so many wonderful families
And I'm still growing. I'm starting over.
And it's HARD!!! No one here knows me and Sarnia is a VERY supportive city who loves to support local..and I'm an outsider. Not "local" quite yet so people are sticking with their home photographers and it's wonderful. But it's hard.
I love this area. I love the people.
And when a family chooses me to capture their special moments like having a baby, getting married, celebrating birthdays, it truly just warms my heart. Slowly but surely I'll break into the feel of Sarnia being my new home.
I love you guys in Sarnia, Point Edward, Petrolia, Wyoming...Camlachie (lol)...I giggle saying that word because of how people "from the outside" pronounce it - and we were there once. LOL.
Anyway, that is my rant and my verbal diarrhea. Time to get real and honest and spill my heart out on this blog.
Onto this beautiful family who's baby I got to photograph 7 months ago.
