Saturday was a gorgeous day! The perfect wedding day actually. We had some sun, some clouds, no rain and some fantastic wind to keep the bride cool in her dress but not too cold for everyone else. It was a BEAUTIFUL day! Paul & Mariana are two of the most adorable people I have had the chance to work with. Mariana’s smile never quits, she’s so easy to get giggling, and Paul is happy to do whatever is asked of him (even if it means doing totally awkward and hilarious things)!! The CUTEST thing about this couple for me, was the fact that they did’t live together – until marriage. I love it. Call me old fashioned, or call is old school, but it’s a beautiful way to begin a marriage.
I began my day photographing Mariana at her mothers home (her home until now). Mariana is one of 8 children, (5 brothers – poor girl lol)…so I spent the morning with the women of the house…mom, Mariana and both her sisters who were in her wedding party. All of whom have infectious smiles and giggle at almost anything (and cry at almost everything)! It was wonderful to be a part of this family for a day. To watch how much they love one another and are so happy for each other.
Another awesome part of this day for me was the fact that my own wedding photographer was second shooting for me! What an honour to have Andrea as my side kick for the day! **You must check her out HERE.
Andrea began with the boys up at the church and I knew when I met them all there, that not only were her images going to be amazing, but that this fun-filled day was going to fly by all to quickly! Paul and Mariana, we were so blessed to be a part of your special day. We felt like family and were treated wonderfully during the events of the day – we are so thankful. Your families are so kind, and so soft hearted, it was absolutely wonderful to be a part of you all for the day. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! We hope you love the sneak peak and we look forward to seeing you again in the future <3
Congratulations Paul & Mariana!
